Power & Politics – Full Show for Sept. 14

This week on Power & Politics, the State Department of Community Affairs approved a $120 million bond to replace the Newark’s lead service lines -- at no cost to homeowners. The lead in the lines contaminated drinking water in some homes after tests showed some filters were not working properly. Power & Politics host Alex Zdan talks to Newark Mayor Ras Baraka for an update.
Also on the show this week: Tim Sullivan, CEO of the Economic Development Authority talks about New Jersey's economy.
And Republican Sen. Joe Pennacchio discusses vaping, anti-bullying laws and what he's trying to do about the algae bloom issue in Lake Hopatcong.
Watch Power & Politics Fridays at 9 p.m., plus Saturdays and Sundays at 10 a.m., 12:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. on News 12 New Jersey.
