JANUARY NOR'EASTER: Saturday snowstorm could bring 6-9" in the Bronx, 9-12" in parts of Brooklyn

A winter storm warning is in effect for New York City from 7 a.m. through 7 p.m. Saturday.
TONIGHT: Snow showers become a steady snow by midnight. Periods of heavy snow expected by dawn. Lows crash to 19. Wind increases overnight, sustained 15-25 mph and some gusts 35+ mph.
TOMORROW: Major impacts expected as the nor'easter will produce steady snow and high wind through midday. Wind gusts 30-50 mph, especially early. Snow ends by 3 p.m. Blowing and drifting snow continues into the evening. 6-12"+ of snow is expected. Highs only around 21. Lows crash to 13.
SUNDAY: Mostly sunny and very cold. Some blowing snow possible with wind gusts 20+ mph. Highs near 27. Lows near 19.
MONDAY: Mainly sunny. Highs near 34. Lows near 26.
TUESDAY: Mostly cloudy with highs near 39. Lows near 35.
WEDNESDAY: A milder mix of sun and clouds. A few rain showers possible by the evening. Highs reach 45. Lows near 42.
