Massapequa physical therapy office finds a way to ensure every kid gets the care they need

A Massapequa physical therapy practice is making sure every kids gets the care they need if they get injured.
The Schwarz Institute has become the primary stopping place for kids with sports injuries. Since COVD-19, there's been a tremendous amount of people in the community who have lost jobs and benefits.
The practice helps kids who have problems with insurance. It's all made possible through the nonprofit Sports Science Institute of America.
Bill Schwarz says he had a kid come to the facility because he was in pain. Schwarz says the kid had a dislocated shoulder and had been living with the pain for four months because of insurance problems. The Institute was able to get the kid surgery.
All the money raised through the nonprofit is going towards helping kids.
