A man from Orange died after officials say his kayak flipped over while he was paddling in Guilford.
Connecticut Department of Environmental Energy and Protection says a 33-year-old man from Orange died after his kayak capsized in Lake Quonnipaug on Sunday.
Officials say the incident occurred after the man lost his paddle and stood up in the kayak to retrieve it and his kayak then capsized.
Officials say he was not wearing a life vest.
