Local hospitals say they're prepared to stay fully open and treat any and all patients who need care during the storm.
Hartford HealthCare says it's focused on making sure people can make it into work and are prepared for people to spend the night.
Crews checked water supply lines and electrical grids Friday. They also made sure generators were filled with fuel and all critical supply deliveries were taken care of.
During the storm, officials will be monitoring the conditions at each of its locations.
Department of Public Works crews say their snowplow teams are also ready for the storm and spent Friday getting salt and checking equipment.
