A group of elementary school children are learning firsthand what it is like to run a business.
Aspects being taught are planting, growing and selling their own food.
A group of children decided they wanted to have a farm stand right before the pandemic.
They have now made it a reality in East Northport and sell strawberries, eggs and other vegetables.
The farm stand is completely student-run and makes around $1,200 in three hours.
