Afternoon snow flurries possible in parts of New Jersey
The first part of this week is expected to see colder temperatures, with a slight warmup by Thursday.
Storm Watch Team Meteorologist James Gregorio says today is expected to see some snow flurries early this afternoon, around 1 p.m. or 2 p.m., especially in areas of Sussex and Warren counties. Accumulation is not expected. Temperatures will be in the mid-40s. Skies will be cloudy, and conditions will be cooler.
Tonight will see some clouds with temperatures in the low-30s.
Wednesday will see partly cloudy skies in the morning, followed by more clouds for the afternoon. Temperatures will be in the low-40s. Wednesday night will be cloudy with temperatures in the mid-30s.
Thursday will see temperatures warm slightly into the low-50s. Mostly cloudy skies are expected. Overnight temperatures will be in the 40s.
Gregorio is also tracking another potential weather system that could bring rain and even some snow Sunday night into Monday.
