Restaurant Week is coming back to on Long Island this weekend.

After the pandemic limited some restaurants from participating, diners and businesses are now fired up to serve customers this year.

The owners of Piccolo Bussola, a family-run Huntington restaurant for nearly three decades, say they are thrilled Restaurant Week is making a comeback.

They say they have missed it and their patrons have missed it as well.

"We have a great price fixed menu, $35 per person, something for everyone," says Piccolo Bussola co-owner John Lubrano. "Appetizers, entree, dessert."

"Restaurant Week is always a big thing for us. It helps. I think it affects different restaurants in different ways. I think if it's a newer place, it's more customers discovering a place and finding a place for the first time. We've been here for 28 years and 41 years in Glen Cove, so for us it's more people rediscovering us," says co-owner Tony Lubrano.

The Lubranos say with each passing week, more and more people are coming out.

"Business has been picking up certainly little by little and I think Restaurant Week will be a good week to get people back in," John Lubrano says.

Glenn Garamella and his wife are weekly diners at Piccolo Bussola and are thrilled Restaurant Week is returning.

"It's always a nice addition," Garamella says.

Customers who plan on eating at their favorite eateries during Restaurant Week are being advised to make reservations ahead of time as spots are filling up.

Restaurant Week runs from Sunday Nov. 7 through Sunday Nov. 14.
