Metal detector hobbyist reunites owner with wedding ring lost more than 20 years ago
When metal detector hobbyist Nick Sierchio found a gold ring while searching for treasures at Footbridge Park in Blairstown, he realized he could probably get $800 or $900 for it if he sold it.
Sierchio, who is caring for his son with special needs at home and was recently laid off by the company he worked for as a tech worker for 34 years, says he sure could've used the money.
Instead, he turned to social media to find out who may have lost the ring.
News 12's Brian Donohue has a remarkable story of lost and found - with more than 20 years in between.
