Two Republican state senators have filed requests for public records related to the Murphy administration's settlement for veterans home deaths during the coronavirus pandemic.

The settlement is nearly $53 million.

The money is to 119 families of veterans who died at the state veterans homes.

The state senators say they want to know what went wrong at the start of the pandemic to better help seniors and veterans in the future.
