Police have identified the 24-year-old woman who died after being found shot in the parking lot of a South Brunswick businesses.
According to the Middlesex County Prosecutor's Office, Alicia Martinez-Izaguirr was approached by a person at around 7 a.m. Wednesday who shot her in the parking lot near Docks Corner Road.
That suspect was able to escape after the shooting. So far no arrests have been made.
Anyone who might have any information about the crime is urged to contact the South Brunswick police or the Middlesex County Prosecutor's Office.
