Demarest Farms in Hillsdale has set up a drive-In movie theater experience, with a soft opening that took place Monday night.

In a post on Facebook, they said, in part, “To Our Entire Community And Beyond, Last night we were informed that our Drive-In theater experience can continue as planned! At this time, we would like to thank every single customer, fan, family member, and team member of Demarest Farms and especially the town council who made this happen.”

 

The farm was set up for social distancing. Co-owner Jason Degise said their idea is very popular among their usual customers.

"We're so excited, it was viral, it really took off,” Degise said. “We have a big customer following as it is. Families are so hungry to go out right now to do something safe, easy and local."

The Facebook post continued to say, “Our soft opening nights will be June 8th, 9th, and 10th with a grand opening planned for June 11th.”
