EDISON - It's going to be a cool and clear night in the Garden State this evening.

News 12 New Jersey Meteorologist Dave Curren says clearing skies and lighter winds will see temperatures dip to a chilly lower 40s in outlying areas.

Curren says tomorrow's daybreak temperatures will be in the mid 50s, so be sure to grab a sweater or light jacket before heading off to school or work.

Overnight, expect it to be clear and chilly with lows in the 40s.
