Scattered showers are expected to clear later today giving way to cooler temperatures for the holiday weekend.
News 12 New Jersey Meteorologist Dan Zarrow says overnight temperatures are expected to drop to between 24 and 30 degrees.
Zarrow says the weekend is expected to be clear and cool with highs near 40 degrees.
