It's looking like the dead of winter for some parts of New Jersey, instead of the early days of spring.
News 12 New Jersey Meteorologist Dave Curren says a half-inch to an inch of snow may accumulate in the northwest corner of the state.
A winter weather advisory was posted by the National Weather Service earlier in the day, but has since been lifted.
Curren says rain is expected to fall into the evening for most parts of the state.
Overnight temperatures are could to get down to the mid to low 30s.
Wednesday is expected to be mostly sunny, with temperatures in the mid to high 40s.
