The skies over New Jersey were mostly clear on Friday, but strong wind gusts brought the temperatures down.
News 12 New Jersey Meteorologist Dave Curren says that the strongest gusts of wind in New Jersey reached nearly 45 mph.
Friday's overnight hours could see some clouds develop with temperatures dropping into the low-30s. A storm system to the northwest could bring some scattered rain to the state in the early morning hours of Saturday. Curren says that the northernmost parts of New Jersey could even see some snow flurries.
Saturday should see a mix of sun and clouds for the rest of the day, with lower temperatures. Temperatures are expected to be in the high-40s and low-50s.
Sunday is expected to see clearer skies with temperatures warming. Highs could reach 56 degrees.
