People are still buzzing over Gov. Chris Christie's keynote address at the Republican National Convention last night.
In his much anticipated speech, the governor touched on his upbringing, hard work and his record during his term in New Jersey, highlighting pension and health benefit reform, tax cuts and teacher tenure.
Christie says the country needs leaders like Mitt Romney because he is not afraid to make tough choices.
Newspapers across the nation sounded off on Christie's call-to-action message last night. Today's Boston Globe reads: "Christie's was a fraudulent argument, but still represents a crucial link in the larger Republican claim that President Obama has choked off the economy by driving up the national debt. By hammering his point home, Christie probably helped Romney's cause."
New Jersey's delegation pushed Romney over the top, clinching the party's nomination.
As the second full day of the Republican National Convention gets under way, the theme for tonight is "We Can Change It."
