The Union Baptist Church held its annual back-to-school fair in Morrisania Saturday.
There were plenty of activities for attendees to enjoy including dancing, cotton candy, carnival games and a barbecue.
To help the community, the church gave out 400 backpacks filled with school supplies, as well as free food and clothing.
The church says the fair isn't the only big event its hold for the community. Members say they will be giving out a week's worth of food to 1,000 families in need before Thanksgiving.
