All lanes on Route 17 North in Mahwah have reopened following a crash involving a tractor-trailer and another vehicle.
The two left lanes on the southbound side remain closed north of Route 202.
That crash happened around 10 a.m. Wednesday. The truck overturned, spilling lemons all over the highway and causing damage.
Details about what led to the crash remain unclear, but it appears the tractor-trailer and another vehicle collided.
Officials say that the truck damaged an overhead sign. The sign was not knocked down, but New Jersey Department of Transportation engineers determined that the structure needs to be removed.
Motorists should still expect some delays in the area. Details about lane closures and detours can be found on the NJDOT’s website.
