Firefighters responded to a vehicle fire on Chimney Rock Road in Martinsville on Saturday.

A truck engulfed in flames sent large plumes of smoke into the air, and the fire spread to nearby brush along the roadside.

Crews were able to extinguish the blaze before it spread further.

No injuries were reported.
