Learn how to make your own scarecrow; perfect for the Harvest season. Bring pants, one long-sleeved shirt and a pillow case. Feel free to add any other trimmings such as hats and scarves. Leaves and stakes will be provided.

The Cora Hartshorn Arboretum will be celebrating the season with a Fall Festival. Great events such as kids scavenger hunt in the arboretum, bee hive presentation, live animal show, observational beehive and Displays from the arboretum's environmental eagles' class.

The museum is teaming up with Springdale Farms for our annual Pumpkin Palooza! There will be fun activities at both locations including: pony rides courtesy of Okey Doke Ranch, a moon bounce provided by My Gym, fall crafts, Farmer Tom’s hayride, a corn maze and paint-a-pumpkin. Pick up your admission bracelet at either location for a weekend of fall fun!

Experience the taste of fresh crisp apple cider! Participants will help to make cider using TNC’s apple press and learn about the history of apple cultivation and cider making. TNC will provide the apples, but more apples mean more cider!

Faeries and Wizards Family Festival
Saturday & Sunday, Sept. 28, 29 from 1 p.m. until 4 p.m.

Camden Children's Garden

Celebrate these magical creatures with games, crafts and more. Children will make their own wizard hat or fairy wings. Children also make fairy wands and their own fairy garden to take home. Come to the Garden dressed in your favorite Faerie or Wizard Costume. Listen to an enchanted storybook reading by a fabulous fairy and enjoy a magical treat at the Faerie Fixings concession stand.
