Participants will observe several live raptors up close and will learn about their behavior, physiology, adaptations, ecological importance and natural history. Hands-on artifacts and demonstrations will capture the imagination of young and old.

Grossology: The (Impolite) Science of the Human Body

The Grossology: The (Impolite) Science of the Human Body exhibition teaches kids all about their bodies with a climbing wall, a walk-in nose, pinball games and even a giant burp machine. It’s a gas! Based on the best-selling book of the same title, Grossology uses sophisticated animatronics and imaginative exhibits to teach them all about the good, the yucky, and the downright ugly about runny noses, body odor and much more.

At the start, your T-shirt is white and pristine. After two miles, you are yellow and green. And by the end, well, you look like a Jackson Pollock painting! The Tie Dye Dash is an untimed, 5K fun run that splatters its participants with nontoxic paint. Participants of all ages and athletic levels are welcome. Tie Dye Dash benefits The Morris County Arts Workshop & the Hive.

Using over 1,600 oversized blocks, cubes, cogs, curves, cylinders, and even arches, kids can create whimsical buildings, ocean-going vessels, space-bound rocket ships, futuristic cities, and fabulous forts in this engineering fun fest. Builders under 5 have their own area with hundreds of blocks and no big kids!
