RED BANK - The city of Red Bank kicked off the holiday season with its annual concert and tree lighting Friday night.

Thousands of people crowded Broad Street for the Holiday Express concert and town lighting.

Prior to the concert, residents enjoyed a performance by a local dance school. To close out the night, Santa Claus arrived on the Santa Express train and, while singing carols, led a parade through town.

Friday night also began the Twelve Days of Christmas Scavenger Hunt. Horse and carriage rides begin in the business district on Saturday.
