2015 North Jersey Memorial Day Parades

Bedminster - The parade will begin at 10am at the old Bedminster school on the corner of Elm St & Lamington Rd. A parade will follow down Lamington Rd. 1/2 mile to the Far Hills ceremony which will take place at approximately 10:45 at the municipal building on the corner of Prospect St & Peapack Rd. (across from the fairgrounds). After the ceremony we will be serving hot dogs and refreshments in the fairgrounds. For more information, please call (908) 234-1179

Bergenfield - The Parade will take place on onday, May 25, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. The parade will be staged at South Washington Avenue and travel to Borough Hall. The parade will go on rain or shine.

Hackettstown - Annual Memorial Parade on Monday, May 25, 2015 will kicking off at 9:30 am.  The parade begins near the post office on Washington Street and continues to Grand Avenue and Main Street and ends at Union Cemetery on Mountain Avenue. (908) 850-5004

Kinnelon, Butler & Bloomingdale - The parade takes place on Monday, May 25, 2015 at 9:00 a.m. beginning in Kinnelon, down Kiel Ave to Kinnelon Road, right onto Kinnelon Roadt, hen proceeding to Butler and ending in Bloomingdale

Livingston - This yearas Memorial Day Parade will start at 9:30am, Monday, May 25th, with a ceremonial service at the Oval to commemorate those who have died defending the United States. At 10am after the ceremony, the parade will start on S. Livingston Avenue and will end at Congressional Way. In the event of inclement weather the Ceremonial Service will be held at the LHS Auditorium

Morris Plains - Memorial Day Parade will be held this year on Saturday, May 23, 2015. Activities will start at 9:00 AM with a Memorial Service at Robert's Gardens. 973-538-0325

New Providence - The parade starts at 10:00am on Monday, May 25th, Springfield Avenue from Central Avenue to Academy Street. Contact: 908-665-1400

Oakland - The annual Memorial Day Parade and Ceremony, sponsored by the American Legion and the Borough of Oakland, will be held on Sunday, May 24th, 2015 beginning at 1:00 PM at Grove Street and Ramapo Valley Road. The parade will close with a ceremony in Veteransa Park. Complimentary food and refreshments will be served at the American Legion Post at 65 Oak Street immediately following the parade.

Wyckoff - The parade will start at 11:30 a.m on Monday, May 25th. The parade begins on Wyckoff Avenue at Cornerstone Christian Church. As the participants march out of the Cornerstone Church parking area they turn left onto Wyckoff Ave., continue down Wyckoff Ave. before turning right on Main Street, turn right on Franklin Ave. and end behind Town Hall at the Ambulance Corps building. 2015 Central Jersey Memorial Day Parades

Edison - The Parade takes place on Sunday, May 24, 2015 at 12 noon. The Parade will take place on Amboy Avenue, starting on Walsh Avenue and ending on Brower Avenue Contact: Dana at dligato@edisonnj.org or 732-248-7298

Freehold - The 141st Freehold Memorial Day Parade will be held Monday, May 25th. The parade kicks off at Brinckerhoff and Main Streets at 10 am. The Freehold Memorial Day Parade is the oldest and largest such parade in Western Monmouth County, with an average of more than 70 units participating each year. The parade features many military units, veterans groups, bands, fire departments, EMS squads, youth groups, custom designed floats and civilian units.

Hamilton Township - Parade starts on Monday, May 25th @ 10:30am at Nottingham Way at Shady Lane and continuing to Nottingham Way Firehouse on Mercer Street (route travels down some neighborhood streets towards back entrance of the Firehouse)

Highland Park & New Brunswick - Starting Monday May 25th @ 11 am at Monument Square, Corner of Livingston Avenue & George Street and ending at 1 pm at Doughboy Monument Fork at Raritan Avenue & Woodbridge Avenue Contact : 732-745-5004

Hillsborough - The Memorial Day Parade will occur on Saturday, May 23, 2015 @ 10:30 am. The parade route will begin on New Amwell Road to Beekman Lane to Municipal Building. There will be a Ceremony following the parade

Hopewell Borough - Memorial Day Parade takes place on Sunday, May 24th, beginning @ 1pm and will be marching east from West Broad Street to Princeton Ave.

Metuchen Parade & Ceremony - The parade begins on Monday, May 25th, at 10:00 a.m. - Noon. rain or shine, from Metuchen's Pearl Street parking lot.  It will proceed across Center St., turn right (north) onto Route 27, and right onto Main Street.  The parade will continue through the tree-lined streets of beautiful Metuchen and turn right onto High Street and then right again onto Lake Avenue where it will end at Memorial Park with a brief ceremony. 

Old Bridge - Memorial Day Parade will be held on Monday, May 25th @ 9:00 a.m. beginning at Memorial School 11 Ely Avenue, Laurence Harbor. The parade will conclude with a Memorial Day services at Memorial Park, which is directly across the street from the Laurence Harbor Fire House. 732-721-5600 ext. 2040

Princeton - Memorial Day Parade takes place on Saturday May 23rd. The parade kicks off at 10am from Princeton Ave and Nassau St, then on to Princeton Boro Hall ending with a ceremony at Boro Hall at 11am. Contact: adam@princetonchamber.org

Readington Township - The parade starts on Monday, May 25th @t 10:30 a.m. at the Whitehouse Mall on Route 22 and continues to the Municipal building. A flag raising ceremony will be held in front of the Municipal Building immediately following the parade. Contact: ReadingtonParade@aol.com.

West Windsor Township - Kick-Off Monday May 25th @ 10:30 a.m. from West Windsor-Plainsboro High School, South Ceremony: 12:00 (Noon) - West Windsor Municipal Complex corner of Clarksville Road and North Post Road.

2015 South Jersey Memorial Day Parades

Burlington - Parade takes place on Monday, May 25th @ 9:00 AM in front of CityHall. (Rain or Shine)

Cherry Hill - Takes place on Sunday, May 24th @ 10:45 am - 1:00 pm at Deptford Twp Veterans Memoial Park, College blvd, Oak Valley, N.J Parade and Memorial Day Ceremony at the 11 acre park behind Oak Valley Elementary school. Twp hot air balloon will be giving tethered rides to those who want to see the event from above.BBQ to follow ceremony for twp residents only. More info contact hermiherm1@verizon.net

Hasbrouck Heights - The Parade starts on Monday, May 25th @t 10 a.m. at Williams and runs along Terrace Avenue. Service a Veterans Park (Terrace & Passaic Avenue) follows.  Fireman's Memorial Service follows at Circle

Medford - Celebrate Memorial day with firetrucks, and high school marching bands! Complete with a 21-gun salute and flag-raising. Parade begins 11 am, on Monday, May 25th at Memorial Middle school on Mill Street and ends at Main Street. Contact: 609-654-251

Stone Harbor - The annual parade will take place Monday, May 25th, at 12 Noon on 96th Street. Ceremony immediately follows outside Women's Civic Club at 96th & the beach Open House, 1:00 PM - American Legion, 117th Street and Second Avenue. Contact: 609-368-6101

The Blues & Wine Festival is an annual Memorial Day weekend outdoor event featuring award-winning wine samplings, great food and classic blues on the grounds of one of the most beautiful park settings in the state. This family event features Traditional Native American dances along with kids activies including such as face painting, and more. Native American handicrafts will also be availble for purchase. The program will be run by Little Hawk (Bob Martin). Bob Martin is a half blooded member of the Mohawk tribe and will be joined by his sister, Morning Dove and both their respective families as they introduce a variety of Native American dances practiced during the height of their existence across North America. Three programs will be offered Saturday, Sunday & Monday 12pm, 2:15 pm & 3:45 pm.

The Lantus Tour of Somerville Cycling Series is an exciting four-day event of competitive cycling for professionals and amateurs over Memorial Day weekend. The event culminates on Monday with the 50-mile Kugler-Anderson Memorial Tour of Somerville, known as the "Kentucky Derby of Cycling." The Tour is the oldest major bicycle race in the United States and a legend in the lore of bicycle racing.

The Annual Memorial Day Parade will start Saturday, May 23th at 10am on Ocean Avenue and Bradley Blvd.  The parade is the "kick off" for The Memorial Day Weekend Festival held on Saturday, Sunday. and Monday. Food, craft vendors and activities for everyone at the beachfront. The annual parade features several local school marching bands, pipe bands from around the state

This year's festival will celebrate Trenton's unique pork roll product while promoting the city's history, art, music, small businesses and cultural diversity. One of New Jersey's famous foods, the pork roll, although North Jeryans will call it Taylor ham will be the featured food. The even held annually during the Memorial Day Weekend, will honor those who have served and sacrificed so that we can enjoy the benefits of freedom. A portion of the festival profits will be donated to Trenton Veteran's Services and the Trenton Area Soup Kitchen.
