New York Mets first baseman Pete Alonso took some time to give a shout out to all the doctors and nurses for their hard work amid the coronavirus outbreak.
Alonso made the touching post on his Twitter.
He named many of the workers by their first name, and showed videos and pictures of them.
Thursday would have been Opening Day.
