A Summit community is holding a rally Sunday to help a local woman who battling ALS.
Lisa Stockman Mauriello is a wife and mother of three. Her physician says he has never seen an ALS case progress as rapidly as hers and that she is losing function every week.
Her community is coming together by gathering more than 60,000 signatures to urge Bio-Gen to let Mauriello take the experimental treatment they offer.
Right now, the drug maker has denied the request.
