Kean University students took to the streets tonight in response to the university's decision to let its embattled president stay on.
The university president is accused of lying on his resume. Kane students say keeping President Dawood Farahi represents higher-education hypocrisy.
On his resume, Farahi says that he wrote academic articles and was the dean of midwestern college. Neither were found to be true. Kean's board condemned the errors and Farahi said he'd take responsibility for them.
Students say it's unfair that the school's academic standards don't apply to Farahi, and that the errors don't matter simply because they're old. Many on campus say keeping the president has tarnished the school's reputation.Kean University decides to keep its president
