NORTHFIELD - A Northfield Elementary student teamed up with an Air Force colonel for a science project which set out to determine how strong you have to be to tear a phone book.
Col. Derek Routt, of the New Jersey Air National Guard, worked with fourth-grader Mason White to figure it out.
They took first place in the school’s content and White got an A.
