Stratford, Torrington and Wilton were just a few communities that held at-home COVID-19 test kit distribution events Wednesday.

Stratford held a drive-thru distribution event in the parking lot of Short Beach.

One kit per car was handed out and includes two tests per kit.

The city of Torrington held a distribution as well at the Five Points Center for Visual Arts building.

The town of Wilton handed out test kits at Allen's Meadows by sign-up only.

Stratford officials asked only those with symptoms or a COVID-19 exposure to come pick up a test. The town is expecting more test kits from the state in the coming days so they say there will be other opportunities to get one.
