People now have until Sept. 30 to enjoy a full day at the beach in Asbury Park, after the town extended the season.
The main reason is safety. Extra crowds plan on staying or visiting the beach this year, which means a need for staffing, lifeguards, social distancing ambassadors, and vendors. It also means beach goers will have to pay seven days a week -- as long as the weather cooperates.
Seasonal badges in Asbury Park have long been sold out, but people can still buy daily badges, available on the Viply app
