Kean University plans to reopen campuses with hybrid plan

Kean University outlined its plan for students to return to school this fall.
The semester would start on Sept. 1 and begin with three weeks of remote learning.
The university will then enter a face-to-face hybrid phase, which will add on-campus instruction to 30% of courses.
After Thanksgiving break, all courses would go back to remote.
The president of the university said in a statement, "This staggered approach will allow both students and faculty to acclimate to our enhanced remote learning and prepare together to enter the hybrid and face-to-face phase of the semester in certain courses."
