Newark officials held a virtual community meeting to tell residents about a new proposed development project.

The development plan would be at the site of the old Pabst Blue Ribbon brewery on South Orange Avenue, which was demolished over a decade ago.

City officials have a plan to turn the land into a mixed-used site that would feature residential units, a day care center and offices.

The meeting was held on the city’s Facebook page.
