Ship Bottom restaurant closes following COVID-19 exposure
The Tide Table Restaurant Group is closing its restaurants on Long Beach Island for a few days following a coronavirus exposure at Ship Bottom Shellfish.

The group will spend the next few days sanitizing, monitoring staff and seeking guidance from the LBI Health Department before reopening.
In a statement on Facebook, the restaurant says, “While everyone is doing well, we unfortunately have been exposed to COVID-19 at the restaurant. Out of an abundance of caution, we are closing Ship Bottom Shellfish today at 4 p.m. to keep our staff and community healthy. We are working with the LBI Health Department to ensure testing and sanitizing protocol. Follow our social media for more. Please stay safe and healthy."
