New Jersey state police say a morning crash involving several large trucks in Woodbridge caused problems for commuters on the New Jersey Turnpike.
The crash happened around 4:48 a.m.
According to state police, a roll-off truck was traveling south on the ramp from the Thomas Edison Service Area to the outer roadway, when the driver lost control and the truck entered the shoulder, where it struck a parked tractor-trailer.
State police say the roll-off truck overturned and continued into the outer roadway and struck a box truck traveling south in the right lane and a double tractor-trailer traveling in the center lane. Both the box truck and double tractor-trailer overturned.
The driver of the roll-off truck sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to a hospital.
The outer road was shut down for around four hours for the cleanup.
