Montclair is bringing artwork to its residents who can’t go inside to see it at the moment.
An exhibit called “Inside Out” has been designed to specifically display artwork on windows along the storefronts of Bloomfield Avenue, which people can see while they walk or drive by. It features the artwork of four artists who each have their own perspective and story.
“We've broadened the base of art that we can show, and we've broadened our ability to disperse it,” says Studio Montclair’s Ed Remsen.
The exhibit was created by Studio Montclair, a nonprofit art organization, while its gallery is temporarily closed.
There is also a virtual outlet for artists who are creating art during the quarantine.
