Marlboro police officers are being praised for rescuing a young girl who was pinned between two vehicles following a crash.
The crash happened around 6 p.m. Monday on Conover Road. When officers arrived, they found the girl pinned.
Police say that the girl was in the back seat of one of the vehicles at the time of the crash and was partially ejected out.
One of the officers used a police SUV to push the vehicle off the girl and another officer was able to pull her out moments before the vehicles burst into flames.
The girl was taken to the hospital with serious injuries. She is said to be in critical condition.
