“I see the people he was with rolling up, recording with cellphones, recording, so I knew it was something different going on,” says Sampson.
A drive-thru customer gave Sampson and his employees $10,000 a piece.
“I was just saying to myself the whole time I hope this is not a prank,” says Sampson.
The man, who goes by Jay Mazini on Instagram posted the encounter online, documenting the shock and joy from Sampson and his crew.
“In that situation, I was more so happy about my employees that have been struggling to get hours in this pandemic, so I was super happy for those guys,” says Sampson.
In a time of uncertainty for the world, kindness from a stranger meant *the world* for the team.
It is unknown what Sampson will do with the money.
