Two Bushwick residents are testing the bounds of matchmaking in a time when people must keep their distance.

Inspired the Netflix show, 'Love is Blind,' Bushwick roommates Thi Lam and Rance Nix created their own social media experiment, 'Love is Quarantine.'

Just like the show, the matchmakers pair contestants up with one another. The catch is that in this project, the contestants are isolated in their own apartments and only go on phone dates.

After their dates, the contestants then report back on whether or not they feel their blind date is a match.

The matchmakers have also created merchandise for their project and are donating the proceeds to the nonprofit, Feeding America.

"We have raised money and we've made connections, we've made love connections, we've made friends, we've made community, so at this point I mean we're happy we've done it all," says Lam.

Anyone who would like to participate in the experiment can send an audition tape to the creators through Instagram. Season eight of the project comes out Friday.
