Gov. Murphy: Don’t go to Jersey Shore homes to get away from coronavirus

Gov. Phil Murphy said this weekend that people should not go to their homes at the Jersey Shore to get away from the coronavirus.

As News 12 reported last week, a number of people were headed south to try to do that.

Hospitals and health care facilities there are not properly staffed in the off-season, and that could put a strain on everything.

There is an increase of emergency staff in the summer, but that's not the case during the colder months.
