New Jersey distillery to make hand sanitizer free of charge

A distillery in Fairfield is waiting on a shipment of aloe later today to make hand sanitizer free to anyone 21 or older.

The Claremont Distillery will receive the shipment of aloe later today, and when they get it, will provide high content alcohol to mix with the aloe to make hand sanitizer.
The process is expected to take a few hours.

"My wife was looking for hand sanitizer and a little bit in a panic, and then my son said to me, ‘can't we make that at the distillery?’ and I was like, yeah we probably could, so we looked into it and it’s not really a difficult process,” says founder and CEO of the distillery Tim Koether.

The distillery is also trying to get the sanitizer to be delivered.
