Hoops for Hope: Basketball rivals team up for cancer charity

They may be high school rivals, but earlier this week the Verona and Cedar Grove girls high school basketball teams worked together to benefit a young boy with cancer.

They may be high school rivals, but earlier this week the Verona and Cedar Grove girls high school basketball teams worked together to benefit a young boy with cancer.
This is the annual Hoops for Hope basketball game – an event started five years ago.
Tuesday night’s game was all to benefit second grader Nick Storms. Storms was diagnosed with cancer last month and is going through chemotherapy.
Ticket proceeds and donations all going toward the Storm family to help with medical bills.
