‘The Bachelor’ . . . for senior citizens? ABC casting new version of show

ABC is casting seniors 65 and older who are looking for romance for a new show from the producers of “The Bachelor.”

The announcement was made during Monday night's episode of the show.

According to the producer, the show is searching for 'active and outgoing single men and women in their golden years.'

One producer gave more details on Instagram, saying, “Are you entering your golden years and looking for romance? The producers of The Bachelor are looking for active and outgoing single men and women in their golden years for a new exciting dating show."

Applicants must be legal U.S. residents, active, outgoing and single, as well as 65 or older.

"The Bachelor" is currently in Season 24.
