16 NJ towns make list of 100 richest towns in America

A Bloomberg report is out on the 100 richest towns in America, and 16 towns in New Jersey made the list.
According to the report, of the 16 towns, five were in the top 50. They were Short Hills (6th), Rumson (12th), Upper Saddle River (40th), Glen Ridge (41st) and Upper Montclair (45th) at $265,482.
The report based its assessment on household income, with the top towns in America having households that earn more than $400,000 a year.
The richest town in America is Atherton, California, followed by Scarsdale, New York and Hillsborough, California.
