Authorities say three teens have been arrested in connection to a shooting in Paterson that happened Friday at Jersey and Market streets.

The Passaic County prosecutor says two cars collided before the occupants of one of the cars allegedly fired shots at the other vehicle, hitting it. That vehicle had four people inside.

The Paterson police chief says officers arrested Nassir Clark, Aleena Rivera, and Nijel Towns, all 19 years old.

Police say they found a gun in their car.

Anyone with information is asked to call Paterson police or the Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office.
