An arrest was made after a Rite Aid store in Nassau was robbed.

Police say the robbery took place at the store in North Bellmore. According to Nassau police, someone robbed the store just before 11 a.m.

News 12 spoke to one man who says robberies have been happening a lot in the area.

"It's a shame that this is happening, you know, that people are doing this, you don't feel secure,” says Rich Kelly, of North Bellmore.

Police say an arrest has been made, but further details on the suspect were not immediately available.
