Arrest at library among 2 Leandra's Law busts on LI in 1 night

Police on Long Island made a pair of Leandra's Law drunk driving arrests last night, including one at a library.
Emisael Villatoro was allegedly driving under the influence with his 6-year-old child in the car.  He was arrested after someone at the Plainview-Old Bethpage Library called police. The child was released into the custody of her mother, according to police.
Villatoro is charged with driving while intoxicated, aggravated driving while intoxicated under Leandra's Law and endangering the welfare of a child.
Elsewhere, police say Jared Banfield drove through a stop sign around 9 p.m. Thursday at the intersection of Riviera Drive and Belair Road in Selden. The officer says Banfield was driving drunk with a 15-year-old boy in the front passenger seat. The child is now with his mother.
Banfield faces child endangerment and felony DWI charges under Leandra's Law.
