Bergen County Animal Shelter offering $20 adoptions for Valentine's Day

Posted: Updated:

The Bergen County Animal Shelter wants all New Jerseyans to find a furry friend this Valentine’s Day, so they are offering pet adoptions for only $20.

The special runs through Saturday. The shelter says that more than just cats and dogs are up for adoption.

“We believe in the philosophy of ‘Adopt, don’t shop.’ We get so many wonderful animals in this shelter all the time. People have no idea they can come get a guinea pig or rabbit or lovely dog,” says Deborah Yankow, the director of animal services.

All the animals at the shelter are spayed or neutered and up to date on their vaccines.
