Someone in New Jersey is now $202 million richer after winning Tuesday night’s Mega Millions lottery jackpot.
The winning ticket was sold at the Quick Stop convenience store located at Inman Plaza in Edison.
The winning numbers in the drawing were 4, 6, 32, 52, 64 with a Gold Mega Ball of 6. If the winner chooses the annuity, they will get the $202 million. But if they opt for cash upfront, they will get $142 million.
The Quick Stop has sold winning lottery tickets before. Even the owner walks away with a prize. New Jersey lottery officials presented owner Apexaben Patel with $30,000 for selling the winning ticket.
“Last year we paid those retailers over $180 million in commission,” says NJ lottery executive director James Carey. “It’s not just about players. It’s also about retailers.”
A winner has not come forward. The winner has one year to claim their winnings. Under a new state law, lottery winners may also remain anonymous.
Lottery officials offer this advice for any future winners: Sign the back of the winning ticket immediately and contact New Jersey Lottery as soon as possible.

The jackpot-winning ticket is the first to claim the top prize since December, when someone who bought a ticket in Ohio won a $375 million prize.
