Officials: 5 police officers screened after arresting person who might have measles

Five Lakewood police officers were ordered to stay home Tuesday and visit the hospital after it was learned that they arrested a person who might have measles.
Officials tell News 12 New Jersey that the officers were screened at the hospital as a precaution after the encounter with the suspect. Police did not release details about the suspect or why it was suspected that the person was ill.
The officers are expected to return to work on Wednesday.
All buildings and vehicles used in the arrest have been cleaned and disinfected.
