“Jersey Shore” reality star Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino has launched a YouTube series about his time in prison for tax evasion.
In Sorrentino’s first episode of his YouTube series, “Prison Stories with El Situacion,” he tells a story about meeting former President Donald Trump attorney Michael Cohen, who was also serving time at Federal Correctional Institution, Otisville in Otisville, New York. Cohen was serving time for campaign finance violations and tax and bank fraud.
Sorrentino recalls how on Cohen’s first day at the prison, he tried to convince Cohen to smuggle him extra chicken from the prison cafeteria – with disastrous results.
Sorrentino served an 8-month prison sentence in 2019 after he was convicted for tax evasion. He reported to the prison on Jan. 15, 2019 and was released on Sept. 12, 2019.
Since his release, Sorrentino has starred in a rebooted version of the MTV series, “Jersey Shore: Family Vacation.”
